Hi I’m Dillon and I have been playing piano for 12 years. Not only is music a necessity in my life, but the ability of playing music. The feeling you can achieve from mastering a piece of music is priceless. The ability to sit down and read an entire different language, combined with an unmatchable voice of strings and wood is fantastic.
Studying piano can take a lot of time out of your day. I dreaded piano lessons when I was younger, especially when it was a beautiful day outside. All I could think about was running out of the building. It can be very difficult to sit in one spot and stare at a piece of music and run scales up and down until your fingers bleed. But like everyone says, practice makes perfect.
These past few years I haven’t taken lessons. Yet I always find the time to sit down and hammer out old songs and play by ear. Its fun to sit down in front of a group of people and show off your talent. Piano and music has changed my life. Its a personal asset you can master and have fun with. The reason for my site is to share information that I know about playing piano, and help other people master this amazing instrument.
